You Know The Drill...

Candlebox-Self Titled

The self titled debut from Seattle's Candlebox sold more than four million copies and peaked at #7 on the Billboard charts in 1993. It's good, trust me. I don't foresee the DumDum Girls attaining this level of success.

The Keggs-To Find Out/Girl

Possibly the best garage song released in the 60's, 'To Find Out' by Detroit natives The Keggs brazenly rip through two minutes of slurred speech, dissonant guitar, loose drums, and wild abrupt screams. Rumor is that all of the pressings of this record were destroyed in a house fire and shortly after the singer was decapitated on a motorcycle.
My Life...

The Cramps-Psychedelic Jungle

Psychedelic Jungle was released in 1981 on I.R.S. and featured the guitar playing of Brian Tristan of The Gun Club. This is how the contemporary psych rock 'hip-set' bands wish they could sound like except they're not children of the 50's and music pioneering creeps.

Beat Happening-Dreamy

Fourth Studio record from Beat Happening released in 1991. Worth it just for 'Red Head Walking'.

Shudder To Think-So Into You

Brilliant edit of 'So Into You' by Shudder To Think off of The Pony Express Record released in 1994.

Shudder To Think

The last Shudder To Think full length released in 1997 before the group disbanded a year later.

The most underrated alternative rock record of the 1990's from Washington D.C. based Shudder To Think. This was their major label debut from Epic Records.
